ˈwôdərˌkələr,ˈwädərˌkələr/ noun plural noun: watercolors
My prefered medium is clay. However, when I discovered watercolors in college, I was a heavy hand. Art buyers mistook my work for acrylics. Over the years, I have not mastered the technique of working with watercolors, but instead learned to make it my own style. Defininf what sets me apart.
My adopted style in Interior Design is much the same way. instead of conforming or copying other people's work, I look to them for inspiration to see what I can gleen from their style and still make my mark unique and fresh.
“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.” ― Oscar Wilde Well, I may not be the greatest, but I strive to do my best and excel past my last accomplishments no matter the goal, design or intent.
